Off-Road Team: Kelly Ford, Shaun Clarkson & Jerry Fisher

Kelly: Hello Harriers, so this is just a little hello to introduce myself to those that may not know me and to thank you for voting me to be your new cross country secretary. I am looking forward to being your point of reference for all your cross country needs. I am especially excited to be teaming up with Shaun and Jerry to assist them in putting more highlight on the off-road side of running and all it has to offer.

I'm always happy to try and encourage BaHas over to the muddy side of running life. If any members new or long term would like to ask us anything off-road based, be it requests for events to be included, routes to be introduced or a running buddy to play out with on the trails then please feel free to ask. I am at the club almost every week and I'm on Facebook if you'd prefer to send a message.

Happy running!

Jerry: Played with computers at BT for 32 years then showed people round some mountains for a bit. After a spell of getting paid for running (really), these days I occasionally tell people where they can’t stand. Started at the Harriers at the grand old age of 34, sometimes wonder why, but it keeps me out of trouble, and I’ve missed more club runs than I have club nights in the bar.Nearly retired from running after coming first at the Salzburg Parkrun in front of some kids and a bloke with a dog.Oh, and Trail Running - it’s not as scary as fell but usually as friendly, and a bit like theroad but without the accurate measurements and with mud, tree roots & some times sheep.

Shaun: Fell running, friendly, relaxed, fantastic courses and scenery supported by cakes and beer. What more do you need?
